We know veterinary care can come at unexpected times, and unexpected costs can be one of the hardest parts of an already stressful day. We've built a few different ways to help so the conversation about money never gets in the way of the conversation about your pet.
If cost is a concern, please tell us. We will work with you. No critical case gets turned away. For payment plans like Cherry, the only the first month's payment is due at the time of service.

Cherry: Pay Over Time (Recommended)
Cherry is our preferred way to spread veterinary costs into manageable monthly payments. There's no hard credit check to apply, approvals come back in seconds, and you can use Cherry the same day for routine care, surgery, emergencies, or specialty services. Many pet families are approved for plans with 0% APR. The first month's payment is due at the time of service, and the rest is spread into monthly payments.

CareCredit
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that can be used for both human and veterinary expenses. If you already have a CareCredit account, you can use it at VMC the same way you would at any other practice that accepts it. New applicants can apply through CareCredit directly and use the card immediately upon approval, including same-day procedures.

Scratch Pay
Scratch Pay offers simple, transparent payment plans without the surprise fees that some financing programs include. You can check your rate in a few minutes through Scratch Pay's website, and there's no hard credit check to apply.

All Pets Card
The All Pets Card is a veterinary-specific financing option for clients who'd like to keep their pet's care expenses separate from their personal credit cards. Apply directly with All Pets Card and use it at VMC for any service we provide.

Estimates and Transparent Pricing
Before any treatment plan or procedure, we'll walk you through a written estimate so you know what to expect. Our team is happy to discuss costs, treatment options, and alternatives with you, and we won't move forward with a non-emergent procedure without your approval.
Pet Insurance Option
We accept most major pet insurance providers. With most plans, you pay at your visit and your insurance reimburses you afterward.
If you already have Trupanion, our hospital can bill them directly through Trupanion Express. You pay only your copay (usually 10% or 20%) at the time of service, with no waiting on reimbursement. We can also send Trupanion an estimate in advance so you know what's covered before treatment.
Pet insurance must be in place before your visit. New policies have waiting periods and may not cover pre-existing conditions, so it can't be used the same day you sign up.

We've been doing this work long enough to know that financial concerns can keep families from seeking care. We don't ever want that to happen at VMC. If you're worried about cost, please call us before you arrive, or talk with us when you walk in. We will find a path forward together through one of our many financing options.
